С 6 октября 2025 года в России перестали работать интернет и SMS для иностранных SIM-карт.
По решению российского правительства, все абоненты, въезжающие в страну с SIM-картой иностранного оператора, больше не могут использовать мобильный интернет и отправлять или получать SMS.
Связь полностью не заблокирована: по-прежнему доступны входящие и исходящие звонки.
Иностранные операторы начали уведомлять клиентов об изменениях. В их сообщениях говорится:
“By a decision of the Russian government, roamers who have entered the country will not be able to use internet and SMS services; only incoming and outgoing calls are available. This change came into effect on October 6, 2025, and we do not have information on how long it will be in effect.” — Celfie Georgia
Таким образом, пользователи иностранных SIM-карт (например, европейских или азиатских операторов), находясь в России, не смогут получать SMS-сообщения — включая коды подтверждения из банков, мессенджеров и сервисов с двухфакторной авторизацией.
Некоторые операторы уточняют, что ограничение может действовать до 24 часов с момента подключения к сети, однако официальных сроков отмены мер российские власти пока не называют.
Что делать пользователям:
- При необходимости подключить российскую SIM-карту для доступа к интернету и получению SMS.
- Заранее включить альтернативные способы авторизации (Google Authenticator, резервные коды, e‑mail).
- Если вы находитесь в России с иностранным номером, планируйте возможные перебои со связью и доступом к онлайн-сервисам.

As of October 6, 2025, foreign SIM cards in Russia can no longer use mobile internet or SMS services.
By a decision of the Russian government, all roaming users entering the country with a non-Russian SIM have lost access to mobile data and text messaging.
Voice communication remains partially available — incoming and outgoing calls still work.
Several international operators have already notified their customers. One official message states:

This means that if you are using a foreign mobile operator (for example, from the EU or Asia) while staying in Russia, you will not be able to receive SMS codes — including those needed for banking apps, messengers, or two-factor authentication.
Some operators report that the restriction may last up to 24 hours after the first network registration, but no official duration has been confirmed by Russian authorities.
What users can do
- Use a local Russian SIM card to access the internet and receive SMS.
- Enable alternative login methods such as authenticator apps, backup codes, or email verification.
